    Top thrill dragster is a steel roller coaster located in Sandusky, Ohio, United States of America. Nearer 2000, the planning for Top Thrill Dragster started when Millennium Force roller coaster has been opened. Top Trill Dragster was a Top 10 Roller Coasters made at the park since the Blue Streak in 1964. When it was opened for public in 2003, it was the first full circuit roller coasters to exceed 400 feet (120 meters) in height and was the tallest roller coaster in the world before by Kingda Ka at Six Flags Adventure in 2005.

    Top Thrill Dragster has 6 trains with 5 cars per train. The total of 20 riders can sit in 2 across in 3 rows. 


    Rider Experience:-


    The ride starts from the launch area. A short instruction played to the riders to “Keep arms down, head back, and hold on”. It then launched, accelerating to a speed of 120 meters per hour in 3.8 seconds. Shortly after gaining its maximum velocity, the train starts up a 90 degree bring round, it twisting 90 degrees clockwise before climbing over the 420 feet top height.




    The top thrill dragster roller coaster is based on the top fuel drag racing motor sport. The weight of a top fuel drag racing motor is approximately one ton, while each train on the coaster weighs 15 tons. When the top thrill roller coaster was opened, it had only 4 cars on each train, but in 2003, the 5th car was added to all trains, making them the fifth cars long as it is now. The theme song also played “Ready to go” composed by the Republica while trains on the station.

    On 2004, the 4 riders were struck by the flying rubble while riding a coaster. The injuries were minor, and one rider faces cuts to the face. Another incident happened in 2016, two people were faced minor injuries when the launch cable removed from the ride.
