    The Queen Victoria Market is an inner city landmark that has existed for more than a century – selling assorted goods from home grown fruit and vegetables to foods, clothing goods and souvenirs. Located right in Melbourne’s city business district and spread over two blocks, the Queen Victoria Market is one of three remaining historical markets (Prahran and South Melbourne) that are still open in Melbourne. The Market is open for extended hours throughout night-time during the summer period, hosting a wide range of bars, live entertainment, dining and so on.

    Foodies’ Dream Tour


    A two-hour guide that takes visitors around the market and looking around the best produce available, this tour also  offers visitors food samples to taste, recipe cards created by Melbourne’s highly regarded chefs given away including a food-oriented shopping bag.

    Market Insider Shopping Tour

    This tour is recommended for customers look to find vintage goods such as old-fashioned homewares, rare handmade items and clothes. Visitors are navigated around the Market’s oldest sheds and get to communicate with stall holders and meet craftsmen designing handmade items; giving participants the opportunity the purchase items as well as learning how handmade goods are made. Free coffee is available and a showbag is given to each visitor to carry their items.
