The Shrine of Remembrance is an iconic memorial building that pays tribute to all soldiers who have served in wars and peacekeeping missions throughout Australia’s history. Located in Kings Doman, the Shrine attracts local visitors and tourists every year to learn of Australia’s soldiers making their sacrifice to protect the country, and marvel at the elegant architecture. The top of the Shrine offers a view that overlooks the city’s skyline, and is surrounding by beautiful parklands that stand out during sunny temperature.

The Shrine is currently undergoing a re-development that includes the construction of an new exhibition space called the Galleries of Remembrance, an education centre and auditorium. The Shrine itself will still be available for the public.
