    As temperatures drop for winter in the northern hemisphere we can’t help but transport our minds to blissful beach holidays, a bit of warm sunshine and a much needed winter break.
    The current weather in Australia is more inviting than ever with a golden summer season just beginning, countless reasons to be out on the beach and soaking up some much needed vitamin D. The seasons operate at opposite times for the southern and northern hemispheres so plan your summer hols for a trip down under in December and have a second helping of fun in the sun.

    Bask in the summer sunshine with a stroll on one of Australia’s endless beaches; take up adventurous beach-side water sports or make the perfect beach bordered island escape. Here are twelve of our favourite Aussie beach inspirations to get you started..


    1.  Join a camel walk to see the breathtaking scenery of Broome in Western Australia’s Kimberley Region.  Here you can visit the famous Cable Beach and witness the natural phenomenon of the staircase to the moon.



    2.  Spend some time strolling along Sydney’s beaches and find out why even city life is better by the sea.  The fresh sea air and laid back beach lifestyle provide the ideal mini escape from the buzzing city centre.  Perfect your surfing skills or dream the days away basking in the warm summer's glow.



    3.  Get active by the beach with a Jet Ski adventure to Daydream Island in the magical Whitsundays of Queensland.  The Whitsunday Islands are a heavenly group of 74 individual islands situated in the Great Barrier Reef. You will never run out of things to do here wether it's on land, cruising the crystal waters or exploring the deep blue depths!



    4.  Discover the stunning remote beaches and impressive land locked dunes of Pemberton in the southern west corner of West Australia.  The diversity of the area will amaze as you wander from beautiful beaches to enchanting forests.
