The sun is setting as you are taking a gentle stroll whilst breathing in the fresh warm air. On either side of you are vines of bulbous, plump grapes that embody a deep purple. You slowly swirl the maroon liquid around your glass before smelling the sweet, fruity smell. You take a sip to be greeted with a taste of black berry and spiced plum fruit flavours, along with a hint of vanilla too. This rich bodied taste must mean you are in the Australian vineyards!

Australia has more than 60 wine regions across the country and is known for its award winning wines. Barossa Valley is a popular wine region and has over 100 wine producers! Another well know wine region is hunter valley which is though to be Australia’s best and most historic winemaking region. Hunter valley not only has amazing wine, but its scenery is breath taking! The cool climate wine region in Pemberton, Western Australia is well known for its Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot. These two varieties of wine are popular amongst the locals and tourists.
