Nowra B&B accommodation, NSW

Our B&B accommodation is one of Nowra’s remaining original Victorian Houses. The house was built in 1895 by Thomas Henry Smith. Thomas Henry Smith was the son of John Smith, who reputantly built the very first house in Nowra.

The bed and breakfast is heritage listed as it is an excellent example of a late Victorian Country House which retains an intact section of its original large landscaped curtilage.

The house has been sympathetically and beautifully restored to ensure its old world charm remains for all to enjoy. Though over 115 years old, the house boasts modern touches in both technology and aesthetic design.

Our B&B accommodation is situated in a convenient location close to Nowra CBD and an easy walk to the main streets of Nowra. The Nowra CBD offers an array of cafes, restaurants, clubs, hotels and shopping. Within easy walking distance guests can access Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre, Shoalhaven City Arts Centre , Shoalhaven Hospital, and the Shoalhaven River.

The B&B overlooks the picturesque Marriott Park, which offers the amenities of BBQ facilities, Children’s Playground, duck feeding or just enjoying a leisurely stroll around the park’s gardens.

We offer two guest bedrooms each with ensuite. King size and Double are both available with the the king room ensuite designed to be disability friendly. Both rooms are beautifully appointed with luxury linen, MOR bathroom accessories, fireplaces, fans, free WIFI and flat screen LCD televisions which provides guests with a luxurious home away from home stay.

There is a communal formal lounge with a 42’’ television with Foxtel, magazines and board games to entertain guests. An open casual living space is adjoined to the kitchen and dining area with French bay doors leading out to the large deck and landscaped garden. This is perfect area for guests to eat their breakfast and enjoy the array of birdlife that inhabit the 100 year old peppercorn tree.
