New South Wales Tour

If you have only 3 days to spare, yet want to tick the most favourite holiday destinations and experiences in NSW of your bucket list, then our personalised Grand Circuit Tour (3 days and 2 nights) is perfect for you. Sit back in our confortable luxury vehicle, and let us show you the best of the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley and Port Stephens. Mind you - as with any Dingotour, our well paced itinerary is soaking in authenticity and exclusivity. No overcrowded coaches, over priced tourist traps, impersonal hotels or rushed canteen lunches. Instead, as a small group (maximum 12 people) we're off to see kangaroos, koalas, waterfalls, hidden canyons and country towns.

Includes walks in the valleys and along the coast, wine tastings, dolphin watch cruise, dune sand boarding and all breakfasts and lunches (only dinners are at your own expense). And as always, for your accommodation we've organised charming Aussie country hotels in the Blue Mountains and in the Hunter Valley. Fair dinkum! Travel in air conditioned, luxury vehicles seating 6-12 passengers. Enjoy full commentary with expert driver/guide.

Day One - Blue Mountains

Starting no later then 7.45 am to avoid the traffic, we're straight off to Australia's own Grand Canyon for a eventful day packed with close encounters, vistas and walks. On route we'll cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge, past the Sydney 2000 Olympic Stadium before enjoying morning tea with wild kangaroos deep in the Australian bush. See kangaroos up close plus friendly parrots and cockatoos. In the high Blue Mountains today well see waterfalls, magnificent canyons and Australia's most famous sight - the remarkable 3 Sisters. Wild kangaroos, and an abundance of local birds. We'll also include a circuit walk (app. 1-2 hours, pending on guests' agility and the weather) to discover the true beauty of the Jamison and have a Aussie picnic lunch at the base of a waterfall. In the afternoon, we'll drive down the majestic Megalong Valley to have a taste of the Jackaroo lifestyle, before settling in our hotel of the night in Mt Victoria - a quaint village historic that has kept its old charm and character of a Blue Mountains town. Accommodation: Victoria & Albert Guesthouse in mt Victoria More about our accommodation.

Day Two - Hunter Valley

After a hearty breakfast at our hotel (included), we'll be meandering our way through NSW fruit growing region and the Hawkesbury via the Old Bells of Road. Not without stopping for morning coffee & apple pie at Bilpin. Lunch is taken at the pittoresk Brooklyn village, overlooking the Hawkesbury River. Late afternoon we'll arrive into Hunter wine country where you'll enjoy tasting superb Hunter wines before arriving at your hotel in the vineyards - the Potters Hotel & Brewery Accommodation: the Potters Hotel & Brewery in Nulkaba.

Best places to see in New South WalesDay Three - Port Stephens

After breakfast, we head for Anna Bay at Port Stephens. Here we'll board a 4WD (*) for an adventurous 4WD beach tour along the sand dunes of Stockton Beach, an incredible Eco-system stretching from Newcastle 32kms north to Anna Bay. After our picnic lunch at Anna Bay, we'll board the dolphin watching vessel and watch as the dolphins play on the bow waves. During summer, some may even like to swim in the boom nets off the back of the boat and get personal with our resident bottle nose marine mammals. Return to Sydney and your hotel early evening after an amazing three days of sightseeing and touring. (*) Alternatively, you may prefer to hike up to the Head Summit of Tomaree National Park. This magnificent backdrop to the coastal towns and villages of Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay, Boat Harbour and Anna Bay is the only place in NSW where you can see outcrops of the acid volcanic rock rhyodacite. From Tomaree Head Summit you'll enjoy gorgeous views over Port Stephens, the coast and Broughton, Cabbage Tree and Boondelbah islands nature reserves. Keep your eyes out for koalas dozing high in the trees!
