Our Narooma sightseeing tour is primarily designed for tourists and those who like photography. This tour has the WOW factor and is a trip to remember. There is also plenty of opportunity for photographers who are wanting something stunning to photograph. Photography tuition is available to everyone whether you are an avid photographer or simply want to take home some happy holiday snaps. Remember to bring your camera manual with you.


Our photography holiday tour in the Narooma region of NSW includes:


  • Three nights, four days with four star motel accommodation in Narooma.
  • Visit to Montague Island for whale watching, fur seals or penguins depending on the season.
  • Photograph from inside the lighthouse and capture a different perspective of Montague island.
  • Take photographs of panoramic views.
  • Listen to a National Parks Ranger as he tells the history of the island and those who lived there.
  • Walk the islands tracks to catch bird life in your cameras view finder.
  • Visit many locations on the fabulous Eurobodalla National Park coastline.
  • Make your own designer cheese in Central Tilba at the ABC Cheese Factory. This includes a visit to the dairy farm which is a beautiful location.
  • Capture a Narooma sunrise and sunset (weather permitting).
  • See Narooma from up high with views over the harbour and out to Montague island.
  • Migrating whale and seal watching (seasonal)
  • Aboriginal Cultural Tour takes you to one of the most significant sacred aboriginal sites in Australia on top of extinct volcano Mt Gulaga.


Lynne Thomas is an Australian Aboriginal of the Yuin people is very in touch with the history of her group and the whole Eurobodalla area which her people inhabited for at least 10,000 years. The Yuin are famous for their work with Killer Whales and Dolphins when they used to hunt fish and whales. Lynne has some amazing stories to tell and through her Mother is also part White Pointer Shark Woman.


Day 1

Leave the pickup point at 8am for our first destination of Goulburn which is Australia's first inland city. There we will stop for refreshments at Roses Cafe where you can purchase great food and coffee.

  • Leave Goulburn and pass through Braidwood and Nelligen to Batemans Bay  after having  already passed though the Southern Highlands and Southern Tablelands following the Great Dividing Range to reach Goulburn.
  • Our next arranged organised stop is Mogo Zoo and craft village for a two hour stop. Photograph the rare  White lions, Snow Leopards, Sumatran Tigers amongst a host of Monkeys, Meerkats, Giraffes, Zebras and other animals including the Australian Dingo.
  • After leaving this special zoo you will see breathtaking views of the Emerald Coast in the Eurobodalla NP You are now entering a very old geological area of NSW which predates Sydney and the northern coastline.
  • Free time from arrival at the accommodation until dinner.


Day 2

Weather permitting you will visit Montague Island which is the top of one of the ancient volcanoes of Gondwana.

  • The edge of the continental shelf is close to the Narooma coastline resulting in an abundance of Krill for Baleen whales to feed on.
  • There are ten varieties of whale found in the Narooma region.
  • Toothed whales including the Orca (Killer Whale) are also found in the area.
  • Australian & New Zealand Fur Seas can be seen in Narooma Harbour and in abundance on the rocky shore of Montague Island Nature Reserve.
  • If the season is right watch sea birds breeding. Be careful not to stand on chicks
  • Photograph along Eurobodalla NP's magnificent coastline.
  • Sunset photography session if the weather permits.



Sunrise / early morning photo shoot before the Aboriginal Tour is optional on a "one in all in "basis.

Meet Lynne Thomas who will introduce you to the history and culture of the Yuin people.

  • Lyn will show you aboriginal sites on the coast and on Mt Gulaga.
  • Join Lyn in her troop carrier and ascend the tracks to the top of Mt Gulaga
  • Lyn will ceremonially welcome you to the Yuin peoples sacred site which is one of the most important sites in Australia
  • You will be guided through the site and you will experience something awe inspiring as Lynn goes back 10,000 years and more.
  • You  will learn of the working relationship of her people with the Killer Whales and Dolphins in their quest for food.
  • Lunch is provided.




Visit Central Tilba and ABC Cheese factory

  • Be taught how to make your own gourmet cheese by owner and Master Cheese maker Erica
  • Have lunch at the Corner Cafe which overlooks the dairy property with its spectacular views.
  • If the time is right visit the herd of Jersey dairy cows at milking time and take photographs across the valley to Mt Gulaga and beautiful Central Tilba.
  • Retrace our steps and return to Macarthur via Mogo, Nelligen, Braidwood and Goulburn.
