Meeting at the beautiful gardens along the Yarra River at Boathouse Drive and ‘salute the sun' with Yoga Instructor and Author Gena Kenny, of Ohana Yoga and Wellness. Gena will lead the group through a half an hour series of warming postures to ensure your body is fully awake and refreshed before heading out in the kayaks. After a quick briefing and paddling lesson, participants will get kitted up and head downriver under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of Melbourne.

The tour will continue along the Yarra past Flinders Station and up to the iconic Polly Woodside vessel at South Wharf. After a short break the paddlers then head back upstream past Crown Casino and the lively South Bank district before finishing back at Boathouse Drive. What a way to start the day! This tour is a good length for younger paddlers who can team up with Mum or Dad or one of our guides. No paddling experience is necessary. Our guides will be with you every step of the way. With a fleet of extremely stable Sea Bear sea kayaks, the experience will be even easier for first-time paddlers.


Where: Next to Richmond Rowing Shed on Boathouse Drive near Princes Bridge (Across the river from Federation Square)

Duration:  The kayaking and yoga will take approx. 1hr 45min combined

Cost : $79 per Adult.

Includes: All paddling accessories, waterproof bags, yoga mats and bottle of water.

What to Bring: A sun hat, sunscreen and sunglasses especially during the warmer months. You can wear your normal street clothes but you may want to bring a change of clothes if you are going out afterwards. You may bring a camera and extra snacks.
