Melbourne is certainly known for its coffee buzz, with pour over, syphon, third wave and more.. but we are not out to fuss over these new techniques, but rather hear of or meet the people who are making Melbourne abuzz.. in the CAFE CULTURE of the city.

Join us as we share some of the adventures of the early adopters of the dark bean, and taste some fabulous bites of food along the way - perfect for any social caffeine fiend, or those looking for some taste sensations in small bites.

This is something everyone can experience - and see Marvelous Melbourne along the way !

What Our Guests Say

My husband bought the coffee tour for us as a surprise and I absolutely loved it. Fiona our tourguide was friendly and knowledgable. We learnt so many things about the coffee culture in melbourne! Some would say that the tour was more on the costly side but I felt that it was good value for money. Definitely recommend for those who love history and coffee!

The biggest shock by the length of Bourke st was I knew nothing about the myriads of hidden restaurants & cafes in the Melbourne CBD. I was stunned to discover on the tour that a lot of "fab" eateries have next to no signage at all. How many times we've gone into the city for a weekend and wondered where was a food place to go for tucker and come up disappointed or visiting the old regular lane way cafes are innumerable. This tour opened my ignorant eyes. We know stacks of suburban great cafes but the city was a complete blind spot in our minds rear vision mirror. This tour was like a "Once I was blind but now I can see moment!", it was worth every moment . If you know little like us re Melbourne's cafe, restaurant scene you really will discover Melbourne's hidden secrets.

Having been a visitor to this vibrant city for over 40 years I discovered places that I had never seen before on 3 hour walk with Sarah as our guide. Lots of quirky places and hidden secrets! Highly recommend if you like your coffee and hidden " gems".

Great walking tour with Sarah. Discovered many hidden cafes tucked away in places you would never know about. Sarah's wealth of knowledge about the locations and local history provided an interesting and enjoyable walk with great coffee and tasty food. Highly recommended to others. Next time in Melbourne we will join one of the other tours
