The Hunter Valley Vineyards are sure to satisfy every pallet. Established since 1828, The Hunter Valley is Australia’s oldest commercial wine producing district with over 4,500 hectares under vinewith over 140 wineries. They are now world renowned for their grape varieties Semillion, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz and more recently Chardonnay & Verdelho. 


Feel the earth and draw away the layers of urban life where your body is relaxed your mind clear and you have a feeling of total well-being.. a special tonic for life of fine food, great wine and fresh air…. this is Hunter Valley Wine Country.

 

Our first stop on the way to the Hunter Valley Vineyards will be a brief visit to a Wildlife Park where you will be able to meet Elvis the crankiest crocodile in Australia, see alligators, Tasmanian Devils and have your photo taken with a cuddly koala and pat a kangaroo.

 

Hunter Valley vineyards day toursOur first vineyard stop is at Peterson’s Champagne House, family owned and award-winning wines since 1981. Sample their sparkling wines made by the traditional method champenoiseand send your taste buds into a spin at the Chocolate Factory Company. Indulge in their fine range of hand-made chocolate and fudge products and experience their tantalising range of chilli chocolate.

 

We’ll then take you to multi-award winning McQuigan Cellars, four generations in fine wine making, renowned for their grape varieties of Semillion and Shiraz and we’ll visit the Hunter Valley Cheese Factory where you can taste the regions most comprehensive range of great variety of cheeses.

 

For that special touch we’ve arranged a gourmet lunch at one of the most popular and reputable fine dinning restaurant showcasing the best local produce, where you can also enjoy some of the Hunter Valley fine wines.

 

And after lunch, stroll through Hunter Valley Garden village which features a variety of boutique specialty shops, coffee shops and galleries before our return back to Sydney.
