Departure Time
7.20am departure from Port Douglas returning at approximately 6.30 pm.

About your day:

Escaping the crowds we experience a true 4wheel drive Adventure travelling beyond the end of the sealed road where few other companies dare to venture. Deep in the remote wilderness region of the Daintree Rainforest, a wilderness seldom seen by visitors, we travel north through some of the most scenic and rugged terrain to our destination of the Bloomfield Falls.

With commentary along the way, we begin our tour with a scenic drive to the Daintree River for a Daintree River Wildlife Cruise, home to a diverse ecosystem and the elusive Estuarine crocodile with stunning birdlife and breathtaking scenery.
Crossing the Daintree River we travel to Alexandra Lookout for sweeping views extending from The Daintree River Estuary to the Coral Sea.

As our journey continues to our destination of the Bloomfield Falls, we stop at the Kulki Track and Cape Tribulation, the only place on earth where two world heritage areas meet. After morning tea we start our 4 wheel drive adventure taking in 33 kms of off road driving each way to the Bloomfield Falls crossing Emmagen and Woobadda Creeks and The Bloomfield River.

View rock art of the Wujul Wujul tribe on the way to the spectacular sheer drop of the Bloomfield Falls.
On our return journey we stop in at Cowie Beach, one of the most spectacular Far North Queensland beaches, remote and deserted except for the Mangroves and Sand Bubbler Crabs that we come across daily.

Our 33 km. drive back to Noah Valley is rewarded with a swim at Noah Valley private rainforest stream followed by a barbeque lunch of steak, fish, salads and a tropical fruit platter and a guided interpretive walk at this world heritage listed private property.

Our day doesn't end before we stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Co. to sample and savor the delights of local Rainforest and exotic fruit ice creams (optional extra) and Daintree Cable ferry crossing before arriving back in Port Douglas.
