This five acre property, with its 600m Blackwood River frontage, has four buildings for B&B accommodation for 18 people. Every bedroom is unique. Some have spas, others have antique king sized four poster beds, others are steeped in history. All guests enjoy comfortable beds, fresh flowers, original artworks, an extensive library, warm fires, friendly company and delicious meals. Their garden is extensive, including an island.

Delaportes - $200 per night

 

A secluded luxury hideaway with a Mediterranean feel, 4.8m high vaulted ceiling with high dormer windows, and private facilities. The rustic charm is created by the hundred year old, grand shutters which welcome each guest as they step inside. The spa is hidden away behind the pressed tin shutters, which can be opened to reveal.  Glowing rich polished French colours are highlighted with the century old carved French oak bed. Mood lighting and the reverse cycle air-conditioning creates a wonderful mood and atmosphere. Soak in the two person spa, dry using towels from a heated towel rail. Wrap in the fluffy towelling robe and then curl up, cosseted amongst cushions and read, watch LCD TV and DVD, track stars across the night sky or just romance away the time with each-other.

 

 

The Cook's Retreat - $200 per night

 

A secluded luxury hideaway with its own private entrance and facilities. The warm sheoak flooring welcomes each guest as they step inside.  Glowing rich autumnal colours are highlighted. Two sets of French doors open out onto a terrace overlooking the Blackwood River and the mighty oak and centuries old Cypress.  Mood lighting and the reverse cycle air-conditioning creates a wonderful mood and atmosphere. Soak in the two person spa, dry using towels from a heated towel rail. Wrap in the fluffy towelling robe and curl up on the deep sofa, cosseted amongst the wall to wall cookery books, and read, watch TV, cable TV, DVDs or just romance away the time with each-other.

 

 

Lower Oddington - $195 per night

 

A secluded luxury hideaway with a English feel, 4.8m high vaulted, limed pine ceilings with high dormer windows, and private facilities. The elegant charm is so welcoming for each guest as they step inside. The spa is hidden away, as is the modern intrusion of the DVD player and the LCD TV. Glowing rich polished English colours are  highlighted. The bedboard uses 107year old cypress pine timber felled on the property in 2002. Mood lighting and the reverse cycle air-conditioning  creates a wonderful mood and atmosphere. Soak in the two person spa, dry using towels from a heated towel rail. Wrap in the fluffy towelling robe and then curl up, cosseted amongst cushions and read, watch LCD TV and DVD, and track the stars across the night sky or just romance away the time with each-other.

 

 

Honeymoon Suite - $180 per night

 

The Honeymoon suite lives up to its name, with its luxurious appointments, space and view into the forest. You can sing love songs to each other in the deep spa, Open the stained glass window, and watch the Blackwood River float by. The Honeymoon Suite is one of two rooms in Aislinn House.  This RAC rated luxurious accommodation is country luxury at its best.  The sheoak floors reflect the 3.6m high ceilings, and the live oak forest beyond the window. The queen sized bed is dressed in a traditional original Amish quilt.  There is TV, video and original artworks. The overstuffed sofa and table and chairs in the bay window overlooks the dense forest of Karris and Marris. Step from the spa to the separate shower, Wrap yourself in a warm fluffy robe plucked from the heated towel rail.  

 

 

The Grand Ballroom - $180 per night

 

 

We have faithfully recreated a grand, elegant room of yesteryear, built in 1896. The 3.6m high ceilings lord over the 8m x 4m room, with its extra wide jarrah floor boards, Persian carpets and four poster king-size brass bed built in 1862. The hand made Grannies flower garden quilt, two sets of French doors onto a terrace, bay window with Victorian drapes, together with the deep club chairs all add to the old-worlde charm. Yet, the amenities of modern day cannot be overlooked. En-suite with views onto the garden, DVD with stereo, CDs, video and Foxtel cable TV, hair dryer, pot belly wood fire and waffled towelling robes. The books are an added touch, as are the pure wool blankets. The French doors open onto a sea of azaleas and a garden splendid in all seasons.

 

 

The Jim Thorpe Suite - $160 per night

 

The Jim Thorpe Suite lives up to its name, with its space, luxurious appointments, and view into the forest.  The Jim Thorpe Suite is one of two rooms in Aislinn House.  This RAC rated luxurious accommodation is country luxury at its best.  Sheoak floors reflect the 3.6m high ceilings, and the living sheoak trees beyond the window. The queen sized bed is dressed with a traditional original Amish quilt, and there is also an additional single bed in the room.  There is TV,  DVD and original artworks. The  table and chairs in bay window overlook the formal garden and the forest of  native trees. In the separate en-suite, step from the shower, wrap yourself in a warm fluffy towelling robe plucked from the heated towel rail.

 

 

The Green Room - $105 per night

 

We have faithfully recreated the charm of times gone by in the Green Room. With magazines, TV,  solid oak furniture, a single bed for one person. The bed is clothed with a down filled damask doona, lots of cushions, and there is a towelling robe, heater and heated towel rail all adding to the feeling of tranquillity and peace in the Green room. French doors which open onto a terrace, all add to its classic charm. It shares the bathroom next door, with the rose & Jarrah Rooms.
