Crawford's Lookout

A quick stop here, and another excellent photo opportunity. A clearing in the trees gives you a fantastic view of the valley and mountain range.

No Aussie tour would be complete without mixing the locals in a local cafe.  You can of course bring your own lunch if you prefer.

Dinner Falls & The Crater

Enjoy a refreshing swim under the mesmerising cascading Dinner Falls and check out The Crater- a 138m vertical crater formed by an explosive eruption of volcanic gases, which has since become an eerie looking lake.

Lake Eacham

What to Bring:

  • Togs, swimmers, bathers, bikini, boardies, (whatever you like to call them!!). If you’d rather go naked, that’s fine if that’s what floats your boat!!
  • Towel
  • A dry change of clothes (maybe something warm in winter)
  • Sunscreen- watch out for that good ol’ Aussie sun, otherwise you’ll be a lobster before you know it! A hat’s not a bad idea either.
  • Footwear- whatever you’re comfortable with (no high heels please ladies!). Easy tracks, so thongs are fine
  • Lunch, if you wish to bring your own, or there’s always a cafe stop for some good Aussie pub grub!
  • Don’t forget to chuck a smile in your pocket too.
