Continue your beach expedition to the glamorous Tamarama to see surfing, beach volleyball, BBQ’s and picnics before heading on to beautiful Bronte for some more of Australia’s best loved beach life.

If it’s the pull of the big blue bringing you to Australia, be sure to head to Queensland for a marine life spectacular this summer.  At this time of year you can see newly hatched baby turtles take their first swim at the Mon Repos Conservation Park.

Experience a spectacular night dive tour or head out in the summer days on a glass bottomed boat giving you a breath taking view of the marine life beneath you.

Sports fans won’t be disappointed this summer with a host of fantastic sporting events to see the season through.  Witness the world’s greatest tennis players in Melbourne this January at the Australian Open (The Grand Slam of Asia Pacific).  Or get in the true sporting spirit of Australia and follow the nation’s favourite game during the summer cricket season.  If you’re outdoors soaking in the sun or indoors with the air-con, join the cricket conversation and you may even get invited to play a game or two with the locals!

From sports on land to sailing the seas, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race begins on Boxing Day and is a true Australian summertime tradition.  Join the locals and sailing fanatics from around the world as they wave off the competitors heading out of Sydney Harbour to commence one of the most difficult sailing races in the world!
